NOTICE BOARD

MESSAGE - 29 June 2022

Another great 6TS All-Nighter is about to happen: make sure you're there.

Advance notice for a tribute soul evening for two of our most esteemed friends, the recently departed Sean Adams and 100 Club DJ and fixture Roger Stewart who passed as Covid hit and delayedhis tribute night. Full details later but it will be Friday October 14th 2022 if you want to get it in your diary.

MESSAGE - 23 March 2022

Dear 6Ts folk,
Since lockdown we have gone from being oversubscribed for tickets, to being poorly attended. The last couple have been quiet; we know the people who went really enjoyed it – especially with the extra dancefloor space – but with West End costs, we can’t subsidise the dances indefinitely. It’s all a bit frustrating when we know we’ll be sold out for the anniversary.

Therefore, we have decided that to give the regular all-nighters a boost, we will start selling anniversary tickets at the all-nighters (from April onwards), in person only, up to and including the August one. If there are any left for sale after that, they will be sold by mail order from the following Monday on a first come basis. The first ones will go on sale at the April 2nd all nighter; one per attendee, £25 each, cash only.

CHECK our upcoming all-nighter dates here

It’s tough on people who only come to the anniversary, maybe for geographical or personal reasons, but we need to boost the regular nighters.

Additionally, we’ve planned some very good DJ line-ups for the rest of the year and don’t forget the London Congestion charge is only 12pm-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays so should not affect 100 Club attendees – though the ULEZ pollution charge on older vehicles is still 24 hours daily - that would mean a double charge unless you time it to enter the zone after midnight. If unsure you can check online if your vehicle is compliant and therefore unaffected by the ULEZ charge.

See you at the 100 Club
Ady & Matt

MESSAGE - 9 February 2022

On Thursday 14th April 2022, we are hosting a bonus nighter for you lucky punters! (8pm to 1am).

The much-heralded 6TS revival night of club-soul classics as played at the first 6TS dances in Covent Garden and West Hampstead 1979-1981.

Amazingly we have all the original DJs except Ady's original soul partner Randy, and Clarkie who has family commitments. The others still have all their records if not all their marbles. It is going to be an incredible night.

You're welcome!

MESSAGE - 16 December 2021

We're very sorry, it's a total bastard but we've decided to cancel the 100 Club Xmas Party which was due to have taken place on Thursday 23rd December.

It's down to the new strain of Covid - working it's way through society at a rate of knots. Several clubs have reported Coronavirus cases shortly after events of this kind. Unsurprisingly, with a few drinks down us and general merriment, it's easy to see how this can happen; the flesh is weak.

The whole world's in turmoil and God knows how next year will pan out. Jeff, the 100 Club owner, who has suffered more than most, is optimistic that although the new strains are more contagious they have weaker symptoms and eventually the virus will mutate into nothng worse than a cold and we can resume life. Don't give a dose to the one you love most!

Have as good a Christmas as you can and see you in 2022.

Ady & Matt

UPDATE: 31 August 2021:

The 100 Club has been granted the TEN license to hold the dance but be aware the police are insisting on bag searches and body pat downs on entry to the club as one of the terms and conditions.

We notify all the members on the emailing list with upcoming dates. If you aren’t on the emailing list, just ask to be added.

Membership cards are no longer available - you don't need them to attend 6Ts events any more.

There is no dress code; wear what the hell you like ... as long as you wear something.

We do about 10 all-nighters every year; every 4 to 5 weeks in winter and every 5 to 6 weeks in summer, so the dates aren't fixed. Check out upcoming dates here.
